Firstly SEO is not a single event services. Forget fixed-price one plan suits all models - this is taking-a-stab SEO - and this can be very dangerous. Naturally, quite a few web consultants have had some luck with making their website rank - quite often where it probably wasn't very difficult to rank anyway and so have begun offering an SEO service.
